Whether you’re moving down the street or to a new state, moving can be somewhat stressful. However, there are ways to help ensure that your move goes as smoothly as possible.
I created this checklist to help others make sure they update their address in all of the places it needs to be updated after a move.
Tip: It's best to make any address changes after you've visited your new home and after you've made your move official (by signing a lease or another type of contract). Sometimes unexpected variables can cancel moving plans at the last minute, and you don't want to have to undo a bunch of address changes if the move falls through before it is officially confirmed.
